To use this contact spray glue, you need to:

Preparation

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dust or grease to give you the best ease of application possible.

How to Apply

Firstly, make sure that you shake the new canister well before use and apply it at room temperature. Next, hold the spray gun parallel (sold separately) to the work surface and apply a generous adhesive coat to the area.

For best results, you want to hold the spray nozzle 6-8 inches from the surface and apply an even coat.

Bonding

Next up you want to apply a uniform pressure to the surfaces being bonded together, and press down firmly and hold for a few seconds. For best results, allow the adhesive to cure fully before putting the bonded materials to use, and you want to make sure that the gun wheel is wound open

Double-coating the adhesive is also recommended on the edge banding of worktops or porous surfaces to get the best result; however, you want to make sure that the first coat has dried before applying the second.

If the gun is not spraying:

1. Ensure the valve at the canister is turned on.
2. Confirm the gun wheel is fully open.
3. Using a spanner, remove the large front nut that secures the brass spray tip.
4. With the spray tip removed, try spraying the gun.
   • If the glue sprays, the brass tip is blocked. Clean it with a citrus cleaner and replace it, or install a new spray tip.
   • If there is still no flow, there may be a blockage in the hose. This can occur if the canister is turned off prematurely or if the product has not been used for a long period. Please contact us for guidance on safely removing the hose from the canister.
