Acrylic Adhesive

Adhesive information

This foam tapes adhesive is a high performance acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive specially formulated to give you top bonding properties. As a result, the adhesive provides excellent tack and peel performance and has been chosen to offer a high degree of adhesion to a wide range of surfaces.

Liner information

This foam tape has a siliconised paper liner. Consequently, due to this double sided foam tape being Silicone Coated this tape can withstand heat applications without damaging or sticking to other materials.

How to apply this tape

To apply this double sided tape the two surfaces must be clean and dry. You should be aware that low temperatures at the time of application may increase the possibility of condensation on the surface. If this happens, this may reduce the final bond strength so we recommend that when applying this tape apply it at slightly warmer temperatures to improve its effectiveness.

The acrylic adhesive is pressure sensitive, so therefore the application should be carried out at a minimum of 15^OC with as high a pressure as your process allows.

Technical information

Directions to Apply This Tape

• Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free of dirt or grease.
• Cut tape to the desired length.
• Peel off the protective liner from one side and apply it to the object.
• Press firmly to ensure maximum adhesion.
• Peel off the second liner and press the object onto the desired surface.

Caution: Test on a small area before full application to ensure compatibility with the surface. Keep out of reach of children.
