The easy peel Ultratape Double-Sided Tape is a general-purpose black performed high-performance polyisobutylene (PIB)- based sealing tape that is ideal as an industrial strip sealant. It ensures a permanent and watertight joint on most membranes.

The roofing and cladding industry uses this strong tape to create an excellent seal in situations such as side and end lap joints. The bead section is particularly recommended for large corrugated end lap sheet profiles.

Application notes

The product should be applied to a surface between +4°C and +40°C. The surface should be clean, dry, and grease-free. Unwind and lightly press into position, leaving the release paper in place. On forming the joint, the release paper is removed, and the closing surface is pushed firmly in place, applying even pressure along the length of the joint and mechanically fixed.

Tested and approved to NFRC class “A”. Methane permeation was tested according to ISO15015-2 plastics, film and sheeting determination of gas-transmission rate – Part 2: Equal-pressure methods. Radon transmittance was tested in accordance with SP Method no 3873.
